Graduate fashion designer Faye Donnelly's collection 'Unleashed' is inspired by 1940's crime-caper comics, especially the female super villain. Using these strong, powerful and dangerous women as the inspiration for the collection, Faye developed a feminine tailored look, with powerful shoulders and highly sculpted waists to portray the lethal sensuality of these villains.
Wanting to pay homage to this era of comic books Faye chose to create an all black collection with flashes of the 'pop' colours which are apparent in contemporary comics.
